イタリアの公共放送局がYCUのミケレット・ルジェロ教授を密着取材！

YCU国際総合科学群理学系のミケレット・ルジェロ教授の取材のため、イタリアの公共放送局である、TV Rai ItaliaのテレビクルーがYCUを訪れました！
今回の取材は、同局が放送するCommunity – L’altra Italiaという番組によるもの。毎回世界各国で活躍するイタリア人を特集しています。取材クルーは日本に約2週間滞在し、東京や京都などを訪れ、著名な研究者やイタリア料理のシェフなどを取材する予定だそうです。
ミケレット教授は、 2008年にYCUに着任して以来、理学系物質科学コースにおいて主に認知科学や知覚実験、知覚情報理論などを専門とした研究に従事。現在の研究テーマは、脳と実験精神物理学の高度な理論です。さらに、VR（Virtual Reality）システムの研究を行っており、取材の当日は研究室の学生によって、VRシステムを装着したデモンストレーションが行われました。取材班は最新のVRシステムに興味津々で、熱心に研究内容についてインタビューを行っていました。

Professor Ruggero Micheletto of YCU to be featured in Italian National TV Program “Community – L’altra Italia”!
On December 6th 2017, a TV crew from TV Rai Italia visited YCU, to interview Professor Ruggero Micheletto of the YCU’s Department of Materials Science.
TV Rai Italia is an international television service of RAI, Italy's public national broadcaster. This interview is for a program called “Community - L'altra Italia” broadcasted by the same station, in which Italians who live and/or work in various different countries around the world are featured. The camera crew from Italy’s Lazy Film production company, will be staying in Japan for about two weeks, and have visited Tokyo, Kyoto, and a few other cities in Japan, to interview prominent Italian researchers and chefs around the country.
Professor Micheletto is in the Department of Nanosystem Sciences, and teaches thermodynamics and introduction to quantum physics. He is also responsible for the courses of "Cognitive Science" in the Graduate School of Nanobioscience. His latest research theme is related to the brain and experimental psychophysics. In addition, his research lab has also been doing research using the VR (Virtual Reality) system, whereby a demonstration on the VR system was carried out by students in his laboratory on the day of coverage.
