Listening, Reading, and Writing Resources

There are many useful websites which will help you enjoy English learning. Many of them do not cost you any money to use them. So, why not take advantage of these websites for improving your English?

Listening Resources

Websites

- ESL Podcast is an excellent website where you can practice listening to conversations that take place in realistic situations. These conversations help you understand the styles in which North American people speak as well as introduce vocabulary words that may not be culturally familiar to English language learners.

- You can pretty much learn anthing at Manythings.org. A couple of things that I really want you to try are under the headings "Pronunciation" and "Hearing". You can work on some sounds that are generally confusing to most English learners.

- Breaking News English: This site weekly uploads two pieces of recent news of various genres. Each news can be read in three different skill levels (one of the two articles can be read from Level 1 to 3, and the other one is Level 4-5). This site also has lots of English skill practice activities.
