Forum for Ecological Living Positive News　エコ生活広場—ポジティブニュース

This course is part of the series “Forum for Ecological Living”. It is a sequel to “Only One Earth”, which reminded us that our planet’s resources are limited. We saw how our human activities are bringing in an Anthropocene Age and threatening life on our planet. The other side of the coin is how to deal positively with everyday problems. In the midst of depressing world news about wars, the plight of refugees and the dangers of climate change, stories of compassionate responses, constructive voices and practical solutions taking place around us are so heartwarming. Recently, NHK has been broadcasting examples of local solutions to social problems. In “Positive News”, we shall share information about small endeavours that can inspire us to be optimistic about life in our own communities.
