Summer Science Program
In its 2nd year, this program offers credit acquisition now.Nine students from USA, China, and Malaysia and twelve YCU students participated in this program featuring "Living organisms and Sustainable Environment". Not only lectures were taught in English but also students delivered their presentations in English. This 7-day program included an ecological survey of Yokohama harbor area sailing on "Ohtori"; lectures by researchers from international organizations such as JAMSTEC, JICA and WWF; a visit to state-of-the-art laboratories; and activities to experience Japanese culture.
