Features

Designation as a core hospital, etc
* Designated as a Regional Cancer Care Hospital(January, 2007)
Based on the recommendation of Kanagawa Prefecture, the hospital was designated as a Regional Cancer Care Hospital in the framework of "The 3rd Term Comprehensive 10-Year Strategy for Cancer Control" whose strategic target is to equalize cancer medicine by which high quality cancer medicine becomes available anywhere in Japan.
* Designated as an AIDS Care Central Core Hospital(May, 2007)
The hospital was designated by Kanagawa Prefecture as an "AIDS Care Central Core Hospital" that was founded for the purpose of establishing a general
system for AIDS care and improving the quality of medical practice. Of the 16 Core Hospitals in Kanagawa Prefecture, only this hospital was designated as a Central Core Hospital (as of July 2007).
